Support of Rotary at the local level is what has made this wonderful, worldwide organization so successful and making “Service Above Self” a reality.
Rotary clubs thrive and their members benefit in direct proportion to their attendance levels. Regular attendance is an important way to support your local club and to gain the greatest benefit from club membership. Attending weekly club meetings allows members to enjoy fellowship with each other and enrich their professional and personal knowledge.
In today’s world our schedules aren’t always under our own control, and members sometimes find it just isn’t possible to make their local club meeting each and every week. That’s why Rotary has no attendance policy but has a mechanism for making up missed meetings. See the page called Making Up Meetings for more information.
